Undergraduate Admissions Committee

Purpose or Function: The Committee reviews the applications of undergraduate applicants who do not meet the University’s regular admission criteria but who qualify for consideration under the Alternative Admission Procedure. Based on the review, the committee makes recommendations as to whether applicants should be admitted.  In addition, the committee reviews undergraduate admissions policies and makes policy recommendations.

Membership:  Includes one faculty representative from each college appointed by the Dean, one academic dean appointed by the Provost, the Associate Vice President for Enrollment Management, the Executive Director of Admissions, an academic support services person, one representative from Student Engagement & Success, one representative from Title V/TRIO, and the Executive Director of Academic Advising. All faculty/staff representatives serve two-year renewable terms.
