Institutional Effectiveness Council for Academic Units

Purpose or FunctionThe Institutional Effectiveness Council for Academic Units is a group charged by the President to oversee and advise the university on issues regarding the assessment and continuous improvement efforts of educational program, to include programs at all levels and the University Core Curriculum Program.

MembershipOne Associate Dean from each of the colleges, representatives from Academic Advising, Planning and Institutional Research, and the Student Government Association, the SACSCOC Liaison, and the Speaker of Faculty Senate. The Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs serves as an Ex-Officio member.
